About Judge Jacquelyn Wright

Judge Wright is originally from Oklahoma, but got to Texas as soon as possible. Born in 1964 and still just a baby of course. Judge Wright was first elected to office as Justice of the Peace in 1990, and has had the privilege of serving as JP in Tarrant County Precinct Four for the past 20 years. She Loves the job, but hate the politics.

Judge Wright recently served on one of the Texas State Supreme Court’s Rules Committees. She recently served as an instructor on Eviction Law for the Texas Justice Court Training Center at Southwest Texas State University. She is a graduate of the Special Courts Jurisdiction Program at the National Judicial College at the University of Nevada.

The mother of two, and wicked step-mother to five more. Grandmother to none, so, for now, she is content with Rex, the wonder dog, taking motorcycle trips, and meeting with groups like REIO.
